Design Nation accelerates international growth with new editions in Paris and Germany

06/07/2026

Design Nation reinforces its international position as a leading B2B platform for design professionals, with a strong presence across four prime European locations. What started in 2023 as an entirely new concept in Kortrijk has evolved into a cross-border meeting place for design professionals and decision-makers from the project and contract segment, with a rapidly growing presence of international top brands.

The concept remains unchanged at every edition: a serene and distinctive setting with a strong focus on high-end design innovations, the latest collections and emerging trends. Visitors are given the opportunity to discover brand new design objects, concepts and materials that shape the future of interior design, further enhanced by talks and collaborations with key players from the industry.

Design Nation acts as a catalyst bringing innovation, inspiration and knowledge exchange to major European design hubs.

Curated selection of design objects with a strong focus on the contract and project market

Design Nation positions itself as a presentation platform for high-end furniture & design brands focusing on project-based applications. From office environments and hospitality concepts to healthcare infrastructure and public spaces, the offering aligns perfectly with the needs of today’s design professionals.

For the upcoming editions in Kortrijk, Düsseldorf, and Paris, numerous international high-end brands will be present, making a clear statement. From established names to forward-thinking players, including Kewlox, Vitra, Pastoe, Polywave, MDF Italia, USM, Ondaretta, Gessi, DCW Editions, and Bomma. Together, they present a wide range of products, from indoor and outdoor furniture to kitchen and bathroom solutions, lighting, textiles, and decorative objects.

The strength of the concept remains unchanged: a serene setting where design takes center stage and collections are presented in a neutral backdrop. Only products with a distinct innovative character are selected, evaluated by a jury of design professionals.

Thanks to the plug-and-play format, exhibitors can fully focus on their product presentation, while visitors – from interior architects to facility managers – benefit from a clear, high-quality, and inspiring overall experience.

International growth across iconic design locations

The international ambition is reflected in a strong presence across four high-end locations, each with a distinct reputation within the creative sector:

  • Kortrijk Xpo (Belgium) – the solid foundation where the concept was developed and which served for many years as the home of the renowned Biennale Interieur.
  • Areal Böhler, Düsseldorf (Germany) – an iconic venue, known for Art Düsseldorf and renowned for its industrial, high-end character.
  • La Grande Halle de La Villette, Paris (France) – a leading hub for architects and designers in one of the city’s most dynamic creative districts.
  • Station Berlin (DE) – an established name in the international design and event scene.

By choosing locations with an international appeal and a strong network within architecture and design, Design Nation strengthens its position as a cross-border platform.
